One-Hundred & Fifteen Days

I want to start this post by saying this: God is the Great Provider and Sustainer of life. He alone deserves ALL the praise and glory for any good thing that comes out of this blog and in my life. I cannot adequately put into words His awesome ways!

Come and see what GOD has done:
He is awesome in His deeds.

I leave for Uganda in just under 4 months (!!!!!!!) and wanted to write an update post to let everyone know Continue reading

Uganda Internship 2016

As many of you already know, I have been given the amazing opportunity of interning through Four Corners Ministries at Abaana’s Hope for 2 months over the summer of 2016! I’ve known since returning home from Uganda in 2014 that God was calling me back and He has opened that door.

Abaana’s Hope is a community development initiative Continue reading

My Ugandan Sister

While I was in Uganda, I made a friend named Nancy.

It was our fourth day in Uganda and I hadn’t been feeling very well since we’d arrived. But when the time had come and the drive began, I never wanted it to end. It was nothing like driving for 8 hours here in America, for two main reasons.

Worth It

As I’m packing for Uganda (WE LEAVE SATURDAY!), I can’t help but think about the people I’m going to meet, the stories I’m going to hear, and the blessings I’m going to experience. As I anticipate this exciting journey of being the hands and feet of Christ, I think of the past mission trips I’ve been on and the blessings Continue reading

100 Days

It’s February 27th, and our trip to Uganda is only 100 DAYS AWAY.

As I draw nearer and nearer to my life-changing journey, I get more and more excited. The team going to Uganda is composed of 11 people in our church ranging from 16 years old to 66 years old. There are 2 men and 9 women (yes, only 2 men). We have recently begun a team Bible study titled Continue reading
